Ok folks, you have complained enough -- here's the MusiXTeX-source to generate KV423 score and parts - partially. It's only a demonstration how MusicTeX may be used; how a score may be written in such a way, that parts may be extracted; how parts may be extracted; etc. The complete generation process is not well documented; this was one reason why I didn't want to make the complete source public. Another is that I do not want other version of my edition which are not so close to the autograph e.g. with addtional slurs etc. The primary sources are score.tex to generate the score parts.tex parts va-vc.tex parts for va+vl titel.tex vlva***.tex which contain the notes. Score.tex and parts.tex require a musixtex-format; you may use plain- format if you add "\input musixtex". Mymusix.tex contains some MusiXTeX-extensions. Vl***.tex and va***.tex are generated by separate.btm from vlva***.tex. This is done by the two SNOBOL-programmes separate.spt, which separates the voices from the score, and pretty.spt, which optimizes the output of separate.spt. (If you do not have a SNOBOL-compiler you may use Vanilla- SNOBOL from Simtel; but the input- and output-statements must be adapted). New.tex drives one.tex which I use to test single bars via one.btm. I'm sure that one.btm will _not_ run on your computer. And don't forget this a demo-version. The complete output is availabe as postscript-files from ftp.gmd.de /music/scores/mozart/... Comments, suggestions, error-corrections, ... to Werner.Icking@gmd.de
